Epic Properties Limited marked its 23 year journey with a milestone celebration. To commemorate this occasion, they approached Marketing Bee to create a special anniversary video one that would reflect not just their achievements, but the soul of the brand itself.
01. The Challenge
While reviewing Epic Properties’ previous anniversary communications, we observed that most of their content focused on tangible achievements, projects, buildings, numbers, and physical growth. Although impressive, these narratives leaned heavily toward material success and lacked an emotional connection.
For a brand that builds homes not just structures this presents a challenge. A home is more than concrete and steel; it represents emotion, comfort, aspiration, identity, and belonging. We identified an opportunity to move beyond material storytelling and craft a narrative that people could feel, not just see.
The challenge was to tell Epic Properties 23 year journey in a way that would emotionally resonate with audiences while still honoring the brand’s remarkable growth and credibility.
02. The Solution
At Marketing Bee, we chose a fundamentally different approach storytelling rooted in emotion, human struggle, and dreams.
Instead of beginning with buildings or milestones, we went back to the origin story: how Epic Properties began, how three brothers ordinary young engineers built something extraordinary through courage, sacrifice, and unwavering belief. We intentionally framed the story like a modern fairy tale, opening with the line:
“This fairy tale has no prince, no inherited empire…”
This contrast was deliberate. By stating what the story was not, we invited viewers to imagine something deeper and more powerful: an inspiring journey born from hard work rather than privilege. The narrative tapped into a psychological truth: people connect more deeply with stories of struggle, emotion, and aspiration.
To visually reinforce this concept, we used sketch style artwork, inspired by the illustrated fairy tale books of childhood. This artistic direction strengthened the emotional tone and helped the audience relate the story to timeless tales of hope and perseverance.
The script gradually transitioned from humble beginnings to Epic Properties’ present day achievements bridging emotion with credibility. The result was a balanced narrative where numbers gained meaning because they were rooted in human effort.
03. The Result
The final video became more than an anniversary film – it became a brand story that lives in the hearts of viewers.
By focusing on emotion rather than only material success, Epic Properties’ 23 year journey felt personal, inspiring, and authentic. The story reframed real estate not as construction alone, but as the creation of spaces where lives, dreams, standards, and identities take shape.
The campaign successfully reinforced Epic Properties Limited as a brand built on trust, vision, and human values connecting founders’ dreams with the emotions of thousands of homeowners.
Through this project, Marketing Bee helped transform a corporate milestone into a timeless story one that proves dreams are not only seen, but built.
